On a matchday at Stamford Bridge, I was walking past the Chelsea shop and spotted Michael Essien walking by with a hat on, he was trying to keep a low profile until I stopped him for a brief conversation (calling him a legend etc) and it started a frenzy among the Chelsea fans just before kick-off. I tweeted about it and Essien actually followed me on Twitter after that haha!
SAM A
England had not won an Ashes series since the 1980s. They just needed to keep Australia out for one late summer’s day in 2005 to regain the urn. It didn’t look likely until the man with the skunk haircut turned up. What a privilege it was to be there and witness that innings.
SAM C
